 Words can't express it! That's why we are going to refer to the description in the Readme file: Light Speed is a star flight (star field) screen saver which simulates a real time star flight. If you can't imagine what this screen saver is all about, just go outside on a clear night (OK, OK, I admit it, there aren't too many of those).
Imagine all the stars you see in different colors as they show up in new formations and how they pass by while you, controls in hand, fly by at light speed. The screen saver offers every visual effect to you the universe has: spiral galaxies, star clusters, nebulas and star flights, a view of the Earth from the inside and outside displayed with multi-colored dots, waves in circular motion und even falling snow, are available with superior quality graphics. 16 different simulations in total are included in the screen saver which can be controlled interactively(50 more can be ordered for a 20$ fee). Using the set-up menu you can control the sound and the speed, and furthermore there is a very extensive control mode (read the directions very carefully!) which can be started with the Esc-key and ended with Control +QYou should take a look at this extraordinary screen saver even though the sound might be a little to esoteric - but that's all a matter of taste.
