Dr Who

A fan of the well known TV comic figure Dr. Who was looking in the internet for a Dr. Who screen saver- and only found one. However, he didn't like the graphics very much, so he got down to work and programmed his own screen saver. What a great idea! For those of you who are not Dr. Who fans, the 3D graphics of the "Tardis" (time machine in the form of a blue phone booth) make this screen saver interesting for you, too. After you activate the screen saver, the Tardis shows up on your screen. Dr. Who gets in and disappears - along with the phone booth. They finally pop up again in a swirling wind in an environment chosen by the user - vortex, space, and a star flight simulation are available. After a varying time period, the Tardis materializes, and Dr. Who gets out. He is then forced to get back in by an oncoming tank, and the trip goes on. Unfortunately, the same tank is shows up after each materialization. However, the programmer lets us know that he actually wanted to make other objects, besides the tank, but didn't have time as his friend were pressuring him to finish. We would really welcome it if Mr. Bennett would continue his work with this really good screen saver; after a while even the best graphics get boring.
