Even if you can't fly away yourself, you can at least see which planes of the Star Alliance are in the sky at any given time. The high-ranking airlines belonging to the Alliance include Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Spanair and Air Canada. Several planes, each represented by a colored dot, are shown in real-time as they criss-cross the globe. Each member airline has it's own color. You can choose whether you'd like to have the day and nighttime zones shown, as well as if you really want to view it in real-time (which can get boring pretty quickly). This means speed adjustments are possible, with flight paths then automatically calculated to match.
