Founder of the enterprise Leon Breitling had exact expectations when he started his company: to create extraordinary timepieces - Chronographs. World-renowned Breitling produces these individual watches in La-Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. In the 1930s, Breitling provided the Bristish Air Ministry with chronographs for their airplanes. Breitling gained even more acclaim when it became the first watch in space. The American astronaut Carpenter clocked the duration of his space flight with a watch from the "Cosmonaute" series.
