Why start from scratch when nature has perfect examples to take from? That must have been the airplane manufacturer Airbus' thinking as they designed many details of their planes based on examples from flora and fauna. This screen saver features these striking parallels between nature and machine. Some of the comparisons include turbines to flower blossoms, electronics to flowery fields, and landing of the gigantic plane to that of a swan.
