March of the Penguins
|
 |
Each year, a long and hard way through the spectral whiteness of Antarctica lies before the Emperor Penguins. Driven by instinct, they migrate in huge flocks to their breeding grounds in order to perpetuate the species. After mating, the male and female penguins take turns watching over their precious egg. Later they will do the same for the helpless chick that would not survive without the warmth provided by its parents. National Geographic and Warner Independent Pictures produced a documentary, narrated by Morgan Freeman, dedicated to these fascinating animals. This screen saver is based on that production and features touching pictures of Emperor Penguins and their young.
