The Hummer, also called the Humvee, is a heavy duty SUV originally built for use by the US Army. Just consider these characteristics: durable, dependable, transportable by air, and much much more. This SUV is used by armies the world over. A few years ago, the Hummer became the status symbol of choice among Hollywood stars. Arnold Schwarzenegger was one of the first to be seen cruising around in one. Now, there are three different versions of the "civilian" Hummer: the H1, H2, and the H3. This SUV is winning in popularity the world over, even though it's size and gas mileage aren't exactly geared toward practical living.
