The FIA GT (Gran Turismo) Championship has lots of fans. It brings to mind the race at Le Mans, as many of these GT race cars were present at the endurance race in France. The 10 championship races are three hours long apiece, and the race at Spa lasts 24 hours. Each team must run like clockwork: Teamwork is just as important to winning the race as speed. Speed is a key factor! GT race cars are powered by 400-600 HP motors. However, according to racing regulations, the cars must be street-legal models. The Championship has been taking place since 1960 and the largest automobile manufacturers have been involved since the beginning. This screen saver features a series of GT cars.
