Rob Gonsalves
|
 |
During his childhood, Rob Gonsalves had already developed an active interest in drawing. By age 12, he became interested in architecture and applied perspective techniques to his paintings of imagined buildings. After getting into the work of Salvador Dali, Gonsalves began painting his first surrealist works. The influence of many artists is apparent in his work, but the one that stands out most is the influence of the work of M. C. Escher. Just like the famous Dutch artist, Rob Gonsalves plays with perspective to create tantalizing effects using subtle crossovers. See these unusual dreamscapes for yourself! This slideshow features many of the artist's pictures for you to marvel at. One look simply isn't enough!
