Extreme close-ups of bugs
|
 |
Insects are so small, that people don't even notice them most of the time. As inconspicuous as they may seem, they are of colossal importance to us as they serve as the basis of our food chain. As if the insects were out to appeal to the varying appetites of their predators, they come in all shapes and sizes. In the tropical rainforests alone, experts estimate that there are a million undiscovered species! While many animals see insects as a tasty meal, humans are usually disgusted by the mere sight of them. This makes us unable to appreciate the details of these amazing creatures. Only after seeing extreme close-ups, like the ones in this slide show, are we able to appreciate insects like cicadas, cockroaches, caterpillars, beetles, bees, dragonflies, and other bugs. You'll be amazed...
