Filzip2000 is a free compression program that enables you to comfortable work with zip files as well as 14 other archive types for Windows 9x/Me/NT/2000. Among other types of files, it supports arj, cab, rar, tar, lha, and much more! As far as the functionality range is concerned, Filzip 2000 is just as good as its competitors WinZip and WinRar. This tool makes working with packaged files much easier and faster, because it is integrated into the Windows desktop and files can be packed and unpacked directly from the context menu. MultiExtract makes it possible to unpack more than one archive at a time as well as to design self-unpacking archives. Filzip also allows you to directly rename, move, copy or delete archives. Besides all the standard archive operations, archives can also be converted into other formats, for example, from Zip to CAB. Last but not least, this freeware program also has password protection as well as the ability to send archives per e-mail with the integrated MailClient Module.
